Life is something given to us, then it’s up to ourselves to find out what to do with it. Over the years we collect friends, things, experiences, emotions and words. A collection held together by the human body. No wonder we try to make life easier through machines and systems. More and more in a digital form. Sometimes we are not given the time to adjust. We’ve become part of these machines and systems by building and using them. Without us they fall apart and the other way around.
Still, in this digital movement real experiences and contact are equally important. New bought objects fix a quick satisfaction but most of the time this won’t last long. Experiences on the other hand get better when time passes. Unfortunately these experiences often pass without noticing or the’ve become to common to see. Every morning you see the same window and the same plate you eat your breakfast from. You know how everything looks. The small changing details that are slightly different everyday you probably won’t notice. We humans are trained to keep a overview. But maybe these common things can show us there true potential: you don’t have to seek for peace and happiness. It floats in the window while you stare at it.
