When you decompose a human being to reach to their essence you’ll see that the senses play an important role. They allow us to perceive the world and link memories and feelings to our experiences. Maybe freshly baked bread will take you back to laid-back breakfast on a sunday. We as humans have the ability to link a sensory experience to all that we go through and therefor it goes beyond just remembering. But when things become normal we forget them easily. While in these, at first sight, every day experiences lies so much wonder.
This project is about resetting your senses. Or at least think about it. An action which makes you forget all past experiences so that you can focus on whats happening right now, maybe to create something new in the ordinary. A moment of stillness where the senses can be on their own as a small fragment in a larger context.
